Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) is an SSRIs that are thought to have some effectiveness but are not approved by the FDA as sildenafil (Viagra) or tadalafil (Cialis) is also approved to treat ED. Dapoxetine is an SSRI, which means it can be taken alone or with other medications. Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) works by helping to relax the blood vessels in the penis, allowing more blood to flow into it when you get sexually excited. This allows for an erection to occur. Dapoxetine is also sometimes prescribed to treat the symptoms of an enlarged prostate. Dapoxetine works by inhibiting the reuptake of messages in the nerve pathways in the brain, which leads to decreased alertness and a decrease in the activity of chemicals in your body called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5). This medication is not approved for use in children under the age of 18. Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) is also sometimes used as a treatment for sleep apnoea. Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) is also used to treat a painful form of erectile dysfunction. Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) belongs to a drug class called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) works by inhibiting PDE5, which is the enzyme responsible for breaking down a chemical called cGMP in the penis. When cGMP is broken down, it causes the smooth muscle cells in your blood vessels to relax, which allows blood to flow more easily into the penis. This increased blood flow causes an erection to occur. Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) is not approved for the treatment of ED. Priligy Dapoxetine (30mg) is also used to treat sleep apnoea.
